The “No-No” Page

Does your brand style guide have a "no-no" page? This is one of, if not the most important page of a style guide. Particularly for companies that use third-party marketing agencies for their content marketing, but even internal team members tasked with putting together visuals need to know these rules.

It's actually pretty simple - use the logo as is. But you'd be surprised how often you end up seeing your logo on some marketing piece, and it's all messed up.

Every time I work with a brand to create its identity, a style guide is ALWAYS part of the deliverables. However, as in the case of DICED (shown below), some brands already have a logo, colors, fonts, etc...so I am just taking what already exists and creating the style guide only.
